Position overview
A new trading card game shop is seeking a Sales Associate.
The role combines customer service and product advice with social media, online order processing, and inventory support.
The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Advise customers on TCG products, including Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and sports cards.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Prepare daily sales reports tracking store performance and revenue.
- Monitor inventory and replenish popular TCG cards and related products.
- Assist with social media posts, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Pack and dispatch online orders accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets and support a positive shopping experience.
- Keep the store organized, clean, and well stocked.
Qualifications
- Passion for TCGs and familiarity with popular trading card games or sports cards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of retail sales principles, customer service, and cash handling.
