Role Overview

Lead the commercial, operational, and community performance of the AOC retail store.

Drive sales and profitability, lead the store team, manage high-value TCG inventory, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

The role requires strong knowledge of trading card games, collectibles, releases, grading, authenticity, market trends, tournaments, and organized play.

Sales and Commercial Performance

  • Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Monitor sales, traffic, conversion, transaction value, product performance, and margins.
  • Increase sales through recommendations, bundles, memberships, pre-orders, promotions, and cross-selling.
  • Prepare sales, inventory, event, and operational reports for management.

TCG Product Management

  • Manage Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, sports cards, and other TCG and collectible products.
  • Monitor releases, allocations, pre-orders, market demand, availability, and local and international trends.
  • Ensure sealed, individual, graded, and high-value products are correctly priced, displayed, stored, and handled.
  • Ensure buying, selling, trading, and product evaluation follow company procedures.

Store Operations and Team Leadership

  • Manage opening, closing, staffing, cash handling, cleanliness, security, maintenance, facilities, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare schedules for peak periods, weekends, releases, and tournaments.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, train, and evaluate Sales Associates and other store employees.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, and performance management.

Community and Customer Experience

  • Support tournaments, leagues, trade nights, prereleases, learn-to-play sessions, and product launches.
  • Build relationships with players, collectors, judges, content creators, and community partners.
  • Provide accurate advice and fair, professional service while resolving complaints and product concerns.
  • Use community feedback and participation data to improve activities and engagement.

Inventory and Loss Prevention

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate stock counts and discrepancy investigations.
  • Monitor high-value, fast-moving, low-stock, slow-moving, and allocated products.
  • Securely store, display, transfer, and document high-value cards and collectibles.
  • Prevent theft, unauthorized discounts, stock loss, cash discrepancies, and loyalty-point misuse.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Retail Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • At least five years of retail experience, including at least three years in store management or supervision.
  • At least two years of experience or strong practical knowledge in TCG, collectibles, gaming, hobby, or specialty retail.
  • Knowledge of major TCG brands, releases, organized play, grading, card condition, and collectible market trends.
  • Experience with tournaments, product launches, or player communities is preferred.
  • Availability for weekends, holidays, tournaments, and major product releases.
  • Strong English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous.

TCG release, pre-order, promotional, tournament, membership, customer satisfaction, and employee performance results.

Cash, discount, refund, loyalty transaction accuracy, and store compliance results.
