Role Overview

The Sales Associate drives sales and delivers an exceptional customer experience in the retail store.

The role includes customer engagement, store cleanliness, visual presentation, fitting room service, sales transactions, and other operational tasks directed by store management.

The position supports store operational excellence and contributes to achieving sales targets.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment and uphold store standards.
  • Ensure visual presentation standards are met consistently.
  • Create positive customer impressions through an energetic attitude and adherence to the dress code.
  • Greet customers immediately and thank them when they leave.
  • Provide current and relevant product information to customers.
  • Deliver quality fitting room service and follow up with customers promptly.
  • Attempt to add on to sales to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide efficient cash wrap service, offer gift cards, and maintain cash wrap cleanliness.
  • Capture customer information in the database to support customer relationship management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and visual standards.
  • Capability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and extended standing.

Qualifications

  • A high school degree is required.
  • 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for at least 8 hours.
