Sales Apprentice/Trainee

Working knowledge of machining technology and terms.

Analytical and problem-solving skills that highlight DMG MORI product advantages.

Functionally understand the DMG MORI sales process.

Learn the basics of time and territory management.

Demonstrated ability to create effective presentations.

Incorporate key selling metrics of ROI; Cost of Ownership and the buy/use cycle.

Ability to create accurate sales forecasts.

Building and fostering customer relationships

Learn negotiating skills, strategies, and most importantly, how to ask for the order/close a sale.

Resolving an engineering and/or service issue(s)

Written skills and discipline to complete written reports and necessary documentation of sales calls and sales territory activity.

Other duties as assigned.
