Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Sales Account Manager** to join our team, specializing in the sale of **imported building materials** with extended lead times.

The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing client expectations regarding shipping durations and advance payment terms.

This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and maintain client relationships, coordinate with Procurement department, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and building materials industry.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with **Retailers, wholesalers, and distributors**.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of imported materials, lead times, and logistical considerations.
  • Coordinate with **Procurement and logistics teams** to provide accurate shipment tracking and updates.
  • Prepare and present **quotations, proposals, and product specifications along with samples to potential customers.**
  • Negotiate pricing and advance payment terms while ensuring profitability and competitiveness in the market.
  • Work closely with the **procurement team** to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
  • Stay informed about **market trends, competitor activities, and pricing fluctuations**.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and order-related issues efficiently.
  • Prepare feedback and reports of customer visits and funnel and make presentations of the insights of the market and its trends.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Experience)

  • ------------------------------------------------
  • **Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience** in building materials, construction supplies, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of **import logistics, customs clearance, and supply chain management**.
  • Ability to handle **long lead times** and manage customer expectations accordingly.
  • Proven experience in **B2B sales, negotiation, and relationship management**.
  • Excellent **verbal and written communication skills** in [English, Arabic preferred].
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or **Equivalent Google Workspace Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)** and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
