About the Role

Responsibilities
- Analyze all the market’s ongoing projects and segregate the potential projects that he/she can change the OE Specs
- Coordinate with the site project management/QC, and consultant for alternatives until final approval
- Coordinate with the technical document control team for material submittal preparation until approval
- Hand over the project details and approvals to the line manager and advise the awarded joinery
- Full understanding about Company price strategy vs. competitors
- Weekly visit plan report to be submitted for site visits
- Handing over all client samples as per the specs
- Identify and qualify leads, conduct client meetings and site visits, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and follow up on quotations to close sales
- Provide technical advice on product selection, specifications, and applications
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery, and after sales support
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and project pipelines to support revenue growth
Requirements
- Civil or Architect Engineering degree or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field
- Driving License is Mandatory
- Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, ideally in building materials, wood, veneer, or interior fit out sectors
- Strong understanding of wood, veneer, chipboard, and related processing services
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation, account management, and closing sales within project driven environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications
- Comfort working in the field, performing site visits, and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency with common office and CRM tools for reporting, pipeline management, and documentation
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred

Job Description

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Sales Engineer role based in Riyadh.
- The Sales Engineer will focus on promoting and selling wood, veneer, chipboard, and related services (stitching, pressing, sanding) to contractors, carpenters, interior designers, and project stakeholders.
- Daily responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and site visits, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and following up on quotations to close sales.
- The role involves providing technical advice on product selection, specifications, and applications, while coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery, and after sales support.
- The Sales Engineer will also monitor market trends, competitors, and project pipelines to support revenue growth and maintain strong, long term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, ideally in building materials, wood, veneer, or interior fit out sectors.
- Strong understanding of wood, veneer, chipboard, and related processing services, with the ability to explain technical features and benefits to clients.
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation, account management, and closing sales within project driven environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a customer focused and solutions oriented mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications and coordinate with technical, logistics, and operations teams.
- Comfort working in the field, performing site visits, and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders in Riyadh and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency with common office and CRM tools for reporting, pipeline management, and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client visits and project follow ups.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Salary
- AED 5000 to 6000
