- Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures adapted to sports facilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities
- Coordinate and lead emergency preparedness and response planning for sporting events and daily operations
- Oversee access control, crowd management, and surveillance systems to ensure facility security
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff and stakeholders on safety and security best practices
- Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and effective coordination
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, or safety breaches and implement corrective actions
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards related to sports facility safety and security, recommending necessary updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Security Management, Occupational Health, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety and security management, preferably with sports or entertainment facilities
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, security protocols, and risk management principles applicable to sports venues
- Experience in emergency preparedness, crowd control, and incident response planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Relevant professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CPP, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
