Role Overview

WHS Programs and Audits

• Lead risk assessments for current and new activities.
• Implement site-specific WHS standards, guidelines, objectives, and programs.
• Establish the WHS training matrix.
• Conduct daily and weekly safety audits of equipment, processes, waste areas, spill kits, and first aid facilities.
• Monitor key safety requirements, action tracking, heat index controls, and site management safety walks.

Incidents and Records

• Attend incidents and occupational injury cases on site.
• Support area managers with incident investigations, Gensuite write-ups, and lessons learned.
• Assist with Gensuite follow-up sheets and CAPA creation.
• Audit record-keeping and align Gensuite entries with global standards and local regulations.
• Provide progress updates to the Country WHS Manager.

Emergency Preparedness

• Prepare emergency response plans.
• Manage and conduct emergency drills and maintain training and drill records.
• Ensure completion of basic firefighting and first aid training.
• Review and sign off daily permits to work.

Operations and Procurement

• Work with operations to eliminate exposure to safety risks and prevent injuries.
• Maintain PPE inventory and coordinate orders with procurement.
• Conduct powered industrial tool and trailer dock release inspections.
• Support site-specific requests, unplanned events, and safety-related procurement.

Basic Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate is required.
• Written and verbal English communication skills are required for stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in emergency response is preferred.
• Two or more years of increasing responsibility in safety or environmental programs is preferred.
• Experience analyzing accident data, processes, and machinery and conducting job hazard analyses is preferred.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement is preferred.
• Adaptability in fast-paced and changing operational environments is preferred.

Workplace

• The position supports safety operations at a fulfillment center site in Riyadh.
