Role Overview
The employer is seeking a responsible and motivated HSE Officer to join the team in Abu Dhabi.
HSE Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Abu Dhabi safety requirements.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, checklists, and safety records.
- Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Report and assist in investigating incidents and near misses.
- Ensure workers use required PPE and follow safe working practices.
- Monitor site activities and take corrective action when unsafe practices are identified.
- Promote a positive safety culture among workers and supervisors.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in HSE, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is preferred.
- Previous HSE or Safety Officer experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE or Abu Dhabi HSE requirements is advantageous.
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.
