Responsibilities
- Estimate the safety requirements of site and supply to site persons
- Execute toolbox meetings, safety training & safety drills
- Conduct safety audits
- Conduct meetings with client / consultant / in house
- Submit weekly / monthly reports / Quarterly EHS MIS reports to client / Contractor
- Planning & implementation of core safety requirements along with application of best practices
- Looking after the safety, health, environment and fire protection activities for entire Company
- Establish safety systems for various operational control methods & ensure 100% preparedness for contingencies
- To check & evaluate the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries
- Liaison with various Govt. authorities related to safety aspects, fatal accidents, legal aspects
- Carry out plant safety inspection in order to observe the physical condition of work
- Periodic review of safety manuals, procedures, on site emergency plan/SOP/work instruction etc for continued safety
Requirements
- Experience in estimating safety requirements and supplying to site persons
- Ability to conduct toolbox meetings, safety training, and safety drills
- Experience conducting safety audits
- Ability to prepare risk assessments for all site activities
- Knowledge of safety systems and operational control methods
- Experience liaising with government authorities on safety aspects
- Ability to conduct accident investigations
