Roving Member Service Teller

Responsibilities

• Travel to various branch locations, as assigned, to assist when short-staffed.
• Greet and welcome members and visitors to RRCU in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Assist members in accordance with operating procedures of the Credit Union, performing basic teller and member service functions under minimum supervision.
• Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services, and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
• Assists members with membership needs, such as direct deposits, IRA withdrawals or changes, electronic tax filing, check reordering, automatic transfers, and wire transfers.
• Produces and explains statement, verifies transactions made on accounts, and makes necessary corrections.
• Balances cash drawer daily.
• Responsible for the security of their own negotiables until signed over to the proper designated employee.
• Alert to warnings of fraud and troubleshoot member issues.
• Promotes and cross-sell all RRCU products and services.
• Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
