Responsibilities

• Cash and deposit checks for members in accordance with operating procedures of the Credit Union, disburse cash by withdrawals and cash advances after obtaining proper identification.
• Make withdrawals by cashier’s checks, take payments, and make transfers as requested by members.
• Cross-sells all RRCU services, answers phone, and assist members with any questions they may have about member services.
• Make wise decisions based upon adequate knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer daily; remains alert to needed address changes.
• Responsible for the security of their own negotiables until signed over to the proper designated employee. Alert to warnings of fraud and able to detect and avoid possible fraudulent activity.
• Able to balance ATMs, post night deposits, verify vault currency and cash shipments.
• Cross-trained to open new membership and all other type accounts.
• Able to issue ATM cards and reorder checks.
• Assist in balancing the cash dispenser when necessary.
• Motivate and coach other tellers when needed.
• Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
