About the Role
HullWiper Ltd is seeking an ROV Technician to operate and maintain remotely operated cleaning vehicles for hull cleaning operations. The role requires at least 5 years of maintenance experience with hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems or 2 years of ROV experience.

Responsibilities
- Operate remotely operated cleaning vehicle
- Lead and/or monitor hull cleaning operations
- Perform preventive maintenance of HullWiper equipment including generator, Denjet, umbilical, ROV and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and identify faults
- Conduct repairs as needed
- Coordinate technical requirements and spare part replacements with ROV site location Supervisor and Technical Manager
- Provide input to improve technology and processes
- Conduct spare parts inventory checks and source spare parts locally
- Liaise with ROV site partners, customers and client representatives
- Liaise with vessel crew and maintain effective interaction
- Ensure compliance with company HSSE and operational rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area during and after hull cleaning projects
Requirements
- At least 5 years' maintenance and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical/electronic systems or at least 2 years' experience operating and maintaining ROV submersibles
- Knowledge of principles in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, mechanical and electrical wirings
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and spatial skills
- Technical diploma and high school certificate
- UAE driver's license
- Knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software
- Good English communication skills
- Reside in UAE or be willing to relocate to UAE

Overview

- We are looking for an ROV Technician to join our team.
What would your day look like at HullWiper?
- Operate remotely operated cleaning vehicle.
- Lead and/or monitor hull cleaning operations.
- Preventative maintenance of HullWiper equipment including generator, Denjet, umbilical, ROV and other related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and identify faults.
- Conduct repairs, as needed.
- Coordinate and support technical requirements and spare part replacements with the ROV site location Supervisor and HullWiper Technical Manager.
- Provide input to continually improve technology and processes.
- Conduct spare parts inventory checks and source spare parts locally on a case by case basis.
- Effectively and clearly communicate job requirements and concerns.
- Liaise with ROV site partners, customers and/or client representatives.
- Liaise with vessel crew and maintain effective interaction and communication.
- Ensure compliance with company HSSE and operational rules and regulations.
What qualifications should our ROV Technician have?
- At least 5 years’ maintenance and troubleshooting experience dealing with machines using a combination of hydraulic and/or pneumatic, electrical and electronic specifications or at least 2 years’ experience operating and maintaining ROV submersibles.
- Knowledge of principles in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, mechanical and electrical wirings.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and spatial skills.
- Technical diploma and high school certificate.
- UAE driver’s license.
- Knowledge of MS Office and adapt to learning new software.
- Good English communication skills.
