The role supports a pleasant guest stay by following health, safety, security, and confidentiality guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
- Make beds and replace linens, towels, and other amenities.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, and vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Replenish toiletries, towels, minibar items, and other guest room supplies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies and report damage or unsafe conditions.
- Check room appliances, lighting, and electronics for proper operation.
- Provide courteous service and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Follow hotel policies for security and confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina for lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
