Role overview
Botsync is building syncOS to connect fragmented robotic systems and automate factory-floor operations.
This role focuses on independent acceptance testing of AMR hardware and software before release and site deployment.
Responsibilities
- Build and own repeatable AMR acceptance-test infrastructure across MAG variants and hardware generations.
- Run released Botsync Artifacts through independent, full-stack hardware-and-software verification before sign-off.
- Design and maintain HIL rigs and physical fixtures for lifter, forklift, counterbalance, conveyor, and tugger AMRs.
- Automate deployment-profile gates by site, variant, and generation against release candidates.
- Test hardware, firmware, and software together at the acceptance level before release.
- Verify robot behavior without patching the production robot software or hardware under test.
- Log, reproduce, and route defects with rig data, logs, and clear reproduction steps.
- Create a reusable acceptance-test catalog from one-off rigs and scripts.
- Provide hardware-verification evidence for combined robot and syncOS artifact sign-off.
How the team works
- The role partners with Robotics Hardware and Software while returning defects with rig data rather than workarounds.
- Robotics QA owns per-stack regression suites, while this role owns hardware-level acceptance testing of released candidates.
