- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks during the construction process
- Provide direction and specialized assistance to the project for identifying project risks, quantification, levels of risks and mitigation measures
- Work closely with project managers to recognize opportunities and mitigations to minimize risk exposure
- Assess the risks associated with design and construction stage changes and schedule slippages
- Establish and oversee the project risks register to meet specific project requirements
- Develop and deliver monthly risk reports to the client according to the PCM contract
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the efficiency of risk mitigation measures and compliance with relevant standards
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their expectations and ensure that risk management initiatives exceed their expectations
- Undertake day to day risk management activities including identification, prioritization, register management, action planning and monitoring
- Act as a liaison between the consultant project team and the client, handle all risk management matters and understand client requirements
- Manage client expectations risk management related and ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Over 15 years in risk management, particularly in mega construction projects, and/or in Road and Highways projects, mainly as a Consultant
- At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS
- Knowledge of Middle East design and construction market, conditions of contract and contractual issues
- Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency level of English language
- Transferable Iqama in case non Saudi
- Based in Riyadh
- Valid SCE membership

Overview
- We are currently seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh.
- This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks during the construction process.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or a related field. Specific risk management qualification would be preferred.
- Applicable Experience: over 15 years in risk management, particularly in mega construction projects, and/or in Road and Highways projects, mainly as a Consultant. Candidates with exclusive contractors experience will not be taken into consideration.
- At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS. Candidates without clear ROAD experience will not be taken into consideration.
- Knowledge of Middle East design and construction market, conditions of contract and contractual issues.
- Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Savvy with specific risk management software for recording and reporting risks.
- Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills
- Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
- Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.
Additional Requirements
- Transferable Iqama in case non Saudi.
- Based in Riyadh.
- Valid SCE membership.
