Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate enterprise wide risks, including financial, operational, regulatory, and cyber risks
- Partner with senior stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including CBUAE and ADGM where applicable
- Prepare risk reports and provide insights to senior management
- Review and enhance risk policies, frameworks, and governance processes
- Monitor emerging risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Risk Management within banking or financial services
- Strong Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) experience
- Solid understanding of CBUAE and ADGM regulatory frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a strategic, fast paced environment
- Professional certifications in Risk, Governance, or Compliance (e.g. FRM, PRM, CRMA) are advantageous
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential

Overview

- This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic risk professional to work closely with senior leadership, ensuring key enterprise risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in line with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
