Job Purpose
The Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization’s operations, financial performance, and reputation.
The role involves developing risk management strategies, ensuring compliance, and promoting a risk-aware culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities1. Risk Identification & Assessment
- Identify potential risks (financial, operational, strategic, compliance, and reputational).
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate risk exposure.
- Develop risk registers and maintain updated risk profiles.
2. Risk Mitigation & Control
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Monitor effectiveness of risk control measures.
- Recommend improvements to reduce risk exposure.
3. Policy & Framework Development
- Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
- Establish Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
4. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
- Work closely with internal audit and compliance teams.
- Support audits and risk reviews.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Present key risks and mitigation plans to leadership.
- Analyze trends and emerging risks.
6. Business Continuity & Crisis Management
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans (BCP).
- Lead risk response during emergencies or crises.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with various departments (Finance, Operations, HR, Projects).
- Provide risk awareness training to employees.
- Act as a risk advisor to management.
Qualifications & Requirementseducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree or MBA (preferred)
• PRM (Professional Risk Manager)
- ISO 31000 Risk Management certification
- CFA / CPA (for financial risk roles)
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in risk management, auditing, or compliance
- Experience in industry-specific risk (e.g., construction, banking, oil & gas) is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools and methodologies
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Leadership and stakeholder management ability
- Attention to detail and decision-making capability

- Reduction in risk exposure levels
- Compliance adherence rate
- Timely risk reporting
- Effectiveness of mitigation strategies
- Incident response efficiency
- Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED35,000.00 per month
