Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and specifications
- Prepare and mix mortar or other bonding materials
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or stones in rows, patterns, and shapes
- Cut or trim bricks to fit required dimensions using hand or power tools
- Align structures using plumb lines, levels, and measuring tools
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures
- Install damp-proof courses, lintels, and reinforcement where required
- Clean excess mortar and maintain finished surfaces
- Follow site safety rules and company HSE policies
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a **Brick Mason or Masonry Worker**
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor site conditions
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Knowledge of basic construction safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- ITI / Trade Certificate in Masonry or Construction (preferred)
- Experience in **residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects**
- GCC / UAE project experience is an advantage
Working Conditions
- Outdoor construction environment
- Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs
- Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per hour
