Project Overview

Risk Engineering Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for roads and bridges projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Integrate risk management processes into the project lifecycle with project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report risk exposure using risk management software and tools.
• Develop risk management policies and procedures aligned with construction industry best practices.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions for project teams.
• Analyze project data and historical performance metrics to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and industry associations on compliance requirements and emerging construction risks.
• Prepare risk reports and presentations for senior management.
• Lead cross-functional teams in contingency planning and risk response strategies.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience on infrastructure projects including bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, or highways.
• Previous Saudi Arabia or Middle East experience is a significant advantage.

Skills and Attributes

• Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
• The candidate should be self-driven, results-oriented, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
