Role Overview
The candidate will build data monitoring and controls for Risk Decision Engines and third-party services within Consumer and Community Banking.
The role requires technical and analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, initiative, influence, and the ability to work independently or in small project teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and monitor data quality and detective controls for decision engine, strategy, and system changes.
- Use SAS, SQL, Python, and reporting tools for reconciliations, trend analysis, outlier detection, and post-implementation validations.
- Partner with business, technology, and risk stakeholders to gather requirements, define business rules, and resolve production issues.
- Lead reporting and monitoring automation, maintain documentation and lineage controls, and support risk governance and RCSA requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming and database skills, including SAS, SQL, Python, and Oracle, Teradata, or similar platforms.
- Expertise in data analysis, data warehousing, and data quality management.
- Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Alteryx, or the Big Data ecosystem.
