Lead Site Reliability Engineer within JPMorganChase's Infrastructure Platforms team.
Hold a technical leadership role, advise on technical and business issues, and mentor other engineers.
Act as technical lead for medium- to large-sized products and conduct resiliency design reviews.
Job responsibilities
- Engineer reliability into enterprise-scale platforms using production software, automation, control loops, self-healing, and tooling.
- Build declarative, intent-based systems that continuously reconcile desired state with reality.
- Use telemetry and state data to drive detection, diagnosis, and closed-loop remediation.
- Define SLIs, SLOs, error-budget practices, SLO-based alerting, and telemetry standards.
- Own services end to end for reliability, performance, security, cost, operability, and observability.
- Share on-call responsibilities and lead major-incident triage, mitigation, communications, and blameless reviews.
- Reduce toil through automation and treat repeated manual work as an engineering problem.
- Apply AI-assisted development, testing, incident analysis, and root-cause analysis with validation standards.
- Decompose ambiguous reliability problems into executable work for engineers and AI agents.
- Set reliability standards and lead reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted workflows across SDLC and toolchain practices.
