Role Overview
The RF Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of RF and microwave systems from initial requirements through design validation and release to production.
This role supports the program engineering team in the development of navigation aid (Navaid) systems and associated RF hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform RF and microwave design activities from initial documentation of design requirements through design validation and release to production.
- Support program engineering teams involved in the design and development of Navaid systems.
- Design and develop microstrip and stripline circuits and assemblies.
- Design high-power pulsed RF amplifiers, with emphasis on L-Band pulse power applications.
- Perform RF circuit layout, analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting.
- Utilize RF circuit analysis and simulation software, including Touchstone or equivalent tools.
- Design RF components including power splitters, combiners, and modulators.
- Support design validation, testing, troubleshooting, and transition of products into production.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Quality Improvement Process initiatives.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as an RF/Microwave Design Engineer.
Experience developing RF-based systems for FAA, Department of Defense (DoD), avionics, navigation, or similar applications is preferred.
