- $88,400 - $134,000 Schedule: Hybrid with 2 days remote
- The Retirement Plan Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Olin’s business objectives by supporting the administration, financial oversight, compliance, and governance of Olin’s Retirement Savings Plan and Supplemental Retirement Savings Plan. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you will help ensure accurate plan operations, regulatory compliance, and a positive participant experience while supporting Olin’s retirement strategy and fiduciary responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
Administer Olin’s 401(k) and deferred compensation plans, ensuring accurate and compliant processing of participant transactions, contributions, distributions, loans, and elections.
Perform analyses, reconciliations, audits, and funding reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of retirement plan data, participant accounts, payroll interfaces, and financial reporting.
Manage relationships with recordkeepers, trustees, administrators, payroll providers, and other vendors to support effective plan operations, participant service, and compliance.
Support retirement plan governance and compliance activities, including fiduciary committee oversight, financial statement audits, Form 5500 filings, nondiscrimination testing, correction programs, and regulatory reporting.
Develop participant communications and educational materials while serving as a subject matter expert for employee and retiree retirement plan inquiries.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and recommend operational, procedural, or plan design changes to maintain compliance and enhance Olin’s retirement programs.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree*; degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
Minimum 3 years of relevant retirement plan or employee benefit plan work experience
Experience using Human Resource Information Systems; PeopleSoft/Workday preferred
Experience handling multiple external recordkeeper vendor relationships
Superior communication (verbal and written), organization, time management, interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills
Must be able to manage multiple processes and work well under time sensitive deadline, must demonstrate strong attention to detail and be team-oriented
Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiency
