Job Summary
Manage the Cardinal Health retail pharmacy at Ryan Chelsea Clinton Pharmacy.
Provide medication and pharmaceutical care to the community, including immunizations, patient consultation, and medication therapy management.
Collaborate with health-center administrative and physician leadership to deliver clinical and dispensing services.
Responsibilities
- Implement best practices and ensure department compliance.
- Ensure adequate staffing is present to meet pharmacy needs.
- Maintain accurate records of prescription medications received and dispensed.
- Maintain and enforce policies for accurate dispensing and prescription labeling.
- Maintain security of the prescription area and report controlled-substance thefts or diversions as required.
- Maintain an orderly and sanitary prescription area.
- Ensure pharmacy personnel comply with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities of pharmacy operations staff.
- Administer policies and procedures and ensure employees operate within guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required; PharmD is preferred.
