Company Overview

  • Alpargatas S.A. is a global Brazilian company with over 118 years of heritage and the owner of the world famous brand Havaianas.
  • Our International Distributor Markets (IDM) Business Unit, based in Dubai, is looking for a Retail Manager to lead and elevate the offline retail experience across APAC, Middle East & Africa through our distributor network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent, premium Havaianas brand experience across all retail stores.
  • Implement global retail guidelines including store design, VM standards, staff training, uniforms, packaging, and in store communication.
  • Drive operational excellence across all stores in alignment with global standards.
  • Develop market specific retail expansion strategies (flagship, lifestyle, kiosks, standard stores).
  • Conduct commercial feasibility analysis (CAPEX, cash flow, IRR, payback period) for new store openings.
  • Support distributors in evaluating and executing profitable store growth.
  • Develop annual joint business plans with distributors and ensure target achievement.
  • Monitor retail performance vs financial plans and drive corrective actions.
  • Analyze retail KPIs, merchandising performance, and trading effectiveness.
  • Act as a key liaison between distributors and internal business units.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and execution.

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in offline retail, preferably within global lifestyle or fashion brands.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, P&L, and commercial performance.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to deep dive into data and performance insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work in fast paced environments.
  • Passion for retail, brand execution, and customer experience.
  • Preferably based in UAE.
