Restorative Approaches Practitioner

Newham Youth Justice Service aims to put those who have been harmed at the centre of our work in preventing crime, and the fear of crime, through our engagement of children at risk of offending along with their families.

We are working to ensure that those who have been harmed in our community are supported in all that we do.

We are therefore seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Restorative Approaches Practitioner to ensure the voice of those harmed is heard.

Restorative Justice brings the Youth Justice Service, Metropolitan Police and Probation to work together to provide improved services to victims of crime.

The Restorative Approaches practitioner will ensure that victims of crime in our community are supported in all that we do.

As a Restorative Approaches Practitioner, you will contribute to the provision of effective and high-quality multi-agency Youth Justice Service, in ensuring that the voice of those harmed is heard in all that we do, and that all YJS interventions with children and their families include restorative justice activity.

You will establish and maintain effective multi-agency links with key partner agencies to support victims of crime in Newham.
