People
- Manage daily activity, plan and assign work, and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Develop team members through coaching, feedback, and performance and development goals.
- Train colleagues to meet compliance and expected standards.
Guest Experience
- Ensure food and beverage equipment is operational and regularly cleaned.
- Keep food and beverage spaces clean and stocked for anticipated business volume.
- Notify engineering of maintenance and repair needs.
- Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals.
- Handle guest requests and complaints while maintaining high guest satisfaction.
Responsible Business
- Manage hotel food and beverage marketing programs and participate in system-wide promotions.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry innovation.
- Review and approve menu designs and concepts with the Head of Culinary.
- Ensure food and beverages are securely stored and stock is replenished to minimize waste.
- Manage food and beverage inventory procedures and determine minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Financial
- Monitor budgets and control food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Drive promotions that deliver good-value dining experiences.
- Ensure credit and financial transactions are handled securely.
Requirements
- At least five years of related managerial experience in food and beverage, particularly restaurant and bar operations.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in hotel management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
