- Provide customers with fast, friendly, courteous and efficient service
- Inform customers of daily specials
- Escort customers to their tables
- Greet and take orders from customers
- Present menus and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
- Explain how various menus are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
- Write customer’s food orders on order slips or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages accurately as per customers’ order
- Prepare itemized checks and accept payments as and when required
- Prepare tables for meals
- Collect payments by cash, credit cards or debit cards
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School/Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cashier/Waiter
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to communicate with kitchen staff and provide orders to customers
- Knowledge of accepting credit card payments and working point of sale registers
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Dedicated and meticulous with high level of accurateness and attention to detail
- English language proficiency
- FOH experience: 1 year (Required)

Purpose of the role
- The Cashier cum Waiter/Waitress is under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager/in charge.
- S/he will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers in a very professional way.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Provide the customers with fast, friendly, courteous and efficient service.
- Inform the customers of daily specials.
- Escort customers to their tables.
- Greet and take the orders from customers.
- Present menus to customer and answers questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
- Explain how various menus are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Write customer’s food orders on order slips memorize orders or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages accurately as per customers’ order.

Professional Requirements
- Minimum of a High School/Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cashier/Waiter.
- Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards.
- Must possess knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Interpersonal Requirements
- Proven ability to communicate with kitchen staff, provide orders to customers, collect funds, and maintain proper accountability for orders and funds
- Substantial knowledge of accepting credit card payments and working point of sale registers to accurately secure payment and funds control
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Dedicated and meticulous—high level of accurateness and attention to detail
Compensation
- Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
