Respond to emergency spills and environmental cleanup projects as assigned, including 24/7/365 response coverage, nights, weekends, holidays, and other non-standard hours.
Assist with spill containment, cleanup, decontamination, environmental remediation, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling.
Set up, operate, and break down response equipment, including pumps, hoses, absorbents, containers, and tools.
Operate hand, power, and cutting tools as trained and authorized.
Load, unload, label, stage, and handle materials, containers, tools, and equipment.
Support drum and container management in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Work safely in a variety of environments, including those involving chemicals, hazardous materials, confined spaces, and other challenging field conditions.
Interact professionally with emergency services and regulatory agencies, as directed.
Complete required field documentation, equipment inspections, and Daily Work Records.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
Follow all safety policies, site requirements, and supervisor direction, and properly use required PPE.
Participate in required training and maintain applicable certifications.
Support Waste Management and Field Services departments as needed.
Basic Requirements:
Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call schedule and respond to emergencies outside of normal business hours.
Ability to travel overnight as needed.
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in a variety of conditions.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to follow direction while working independently and as part of a team.
Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, and other applicable environmental and safety regulations.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or future sponsorship.

Prior relevant industry experience
Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
