About the role

  • We are looking for a technically proactive and highly cross functional Advanced Industrialization Lead.
  • Define sourcing and manufacturing strategies for next generation sustainable components.
  • Lead engine Assembly & Testing activities.
  • Contribute to Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) advancement.

What will your day to day look like?

  • Lead sourcing and manufacturing activities for critical components, modules, assembly systems, and tooling/testing systems.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Industrialization Director, OPE leads, project managers, and industrial engineers.
  • Define make, buy, or partner strategies for new components.
  • Evaluate suppliers, partners, and production/assembly & test sites.
  • Develop and implement dual/multi sourcing strategies.
  • Negotiate critical long term agreements.
  • Work with the Partnership's team to develop risk sharing models.
  • Initiate and monitor procurement, manufacturing, and assembly & test processes.
  • Manage Line of Balance and work in progress reports.
  • Engage suppliers, partners, and sites early in development to optimize design and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cost control and engineering teams to establish and track Cost Basis Notes and FSC.
  • Track industrial milestones (FAI, PPAP, etc.) and ensure MRL maturation plans.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, or industrialization of aerospace engine components or similarly demanding industries.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace processes and materials (casting, machining, coatings, additive manufacturing, Inconel, titanium alloys, composites, etc.).
  • Proven experience in cross functional collaboration, project management, communication, and problem solving.
  • Ability to influence complex multi site projects and lead change initiatives.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), sourcing tools, and performance tracking.
  • Very good knowledge of English.

Additional Assets

  • Experience with civil or military aerospace engine programs.
  • Familiarity with TRL/MRL frameworks, industrial maturity models, and risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Skilled in digital tools such as CAD/CAM (CATIA, Siemens NX), PLM systems (Teamcenter), digital manufacturing, and data analytics.
  • Ability to work within multi site, international networks.
  • Proficiency in Polish.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certification.
