Position Summary
HanmiGlobal Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Resident Mechanical Engineer for its Project Management Consultancy team.
The role supports a major residential development project in Riyadh.
The position oversees mechanical installation, testing, commissioning, and handover in compliance with contract documents, codes, quality standards, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, LPG where applicable, and related mechanical construction activities.
- Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Monitor progress, lead inspections and testing, and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Review inspection records, test reports, commissioning documents, and as-built drawings.
- Monitor contractor performance, resolve construction issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in technical and progress meetings and support evaluations of variations and claims.
- Ensure HSE and project governance compliance and prepare regular technical reports.
