The company is seeking a
Resident Engineer
to support ongoing security infrastructure projects, including migrations, technical refresh initiatives, and operational enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Work with a broad range of next‑generation firewall models across mid‑range and high‑performance series.
- Lead migration activities from legacy firewall devices to newer hardware platforms.
- Execute full technical refresh projects for network security infrastructure.
- Manage centralized security management solutions, including complex migration and operational tasks.
- Perform security enhancements, respond to incidents, and conduct device cleanup and hardening procedures.
- Support private cloud–based deployments and maintain strong routing and switching capabilities.
Qualifications And Skills
- Extensive experience with next‑generation firewall platforms and their operational lifecycle.
- Strong background in configuration migration and large‑scale security infrastructure upgrades.
- Advanced experience with centralized firewall management tools and multi‑device operations.
- Strong knowledge of security enhancements, incident response processes, and device hardening methodologies.
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly private cloud setups.
- Solid routing and switching expertise, enabling effective troubleshooting and network integration.
