Resident Engineer – Electrical OHL
TRACTEBEL seeks a Resident Engineer – Electrical OHL to lead and manage site supervision activities for EHV and HV overhead transmission line projects, ensuring technical compliance, construction quality, and safety performance.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering activities for overhead transmission line projects.
- Oversee site supervision teams and contractor execution activities.
- Ensure project delivery meets schedule, budget, and quality targets.
- Review and monitor contractor construction programs and resources.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Resolve technical issues related to transmission line construction.
- Supervise site activities related to tower foundation works, tower erection, conductor stringing, OPGW installation, and earthing systems.
- Monitor contractor workmanship and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Review quality documentation and inspection reports.
- Identify and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Your qualifications
- Extensive experience in EHV/HV overhead transmission line construction.
