- Monitor execution of bridge works, roadworks, and associated infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Ensure construction activities are delivered safely, on programme, and to required quality standards
- Review contractor methodologies, progress, and site performance
- Provide technical oversight of bridge related construction activities
- Supervise interface coordination between bridges, roads, drainage, and utility works
- Identify and proactively resolve site based engineering and construction issues
- Liaise with RTA, contractors, clients, and other key stakeholders
- Support approvals, inspections, and authority submissions
- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with design intent, specifications, and applicable standards
- Maintain robust quality assurance and quality control processes across site activities
- Prepare progress reports, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 10 15 years of relevant experience with strong experience as a Resident Engineer in Dubai
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and delivery of bridge projects
- Strong knowledge of RTA standards, procedures, and approval requirements
- RTA approval is required
- Proven ability to manage contractors, supervise site teams, and coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering interfaces
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and reporting tools

About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure works in Dubai, UAE.
- This role is suited to a seasoned site based engineering professional with strong experience in bridge works, road infrastructure, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- The successful candidate will bring proven Resident Engineer experience in Dubai, a strong understanding of local authority requirements, and the ability to lead site supervision activities across complex infrastructure projects.
- RTA approval is required for this role.
- This is a key appointment with a target start date of August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Supervision and Delivery: Act as the Resident Engineer overseeing day to day site supervision activities.

- Authority and Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with RTA, contractors, clients, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
- Support approvals, inspections, and authority submissions as required.
- Serve as the primary on site point of coordination between the contractor, client, and project teams.
- Quality, Compliance, and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with design intent, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Maintain robust quality assurance and quality control processes across site activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience, with strong experience as a Resident Engineer in Dubai.
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision and delivery of bridge projects; bridge experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of RTA standards, procedures, and approval requirements.
