Residence Worker, Full-Time

• A certificate, diploma or degree in one of the humanities, social work or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. • Minimum of one year recent related experience in a community-based setting, or a combination of relevant education and experience. • Must have Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract • The physical ability to meet the demands of the role • Previous experience within a licensed home and trauma informed practice • Training in wheelchair safety is an asset • Experience as a health care aid or providing personal care an asset • Community inclusion experience is an asset • Valid CPR/First Aid, WHMIS, and Food Hygiene and Sanitation certificates • Mandt and/or Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention Certificate and Conflict Resolution Certificate • Positive behavior supports training is an asset • CARE training an asset
