Role overview
Manage reservations and related communications for hotel guests, travel agents, referral networks, and suppliers.
Process bookings, changes, cancellations, deposits, confirmations, and availability checks across reservation channels.
Responsibilities
- Maintain reservation records by arrival date and alphabetical listing.
- Prepare expected-arrival lists, assist with preregistration, and process advance reservation deposits.
- Process travel-industry reservations through email and B2B platforms.
- Communicate rates and reservation details with suppliers.
- Check ticket and excursion availability and keep bookings and files current.
- Determine room rates using hotel selling tactics.
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance and work area.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with IDS or a related reservation system.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Guest-focused personality; experience is an asset.
- At least one year of hotel experience is preferred.
- Additional languages are a plus.
