Role Purpose
The Reseller Operations Manager is responsible for the stability, control, and growth of the company’s reseller ecosystem across fintech and payment operations.
This role oversees the complete reseller lifecycle, including onboarding, payment operations, liquidity coordination, financial controls, fraud prevention, and reseller network expansion.
The objective is to build and maintain a scalable, efficient, and well-controlled reseller operation within a fast-paced fintech environment.
A. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage Team Leaders, SMEs, Agents, and Business Development Managers.
- Set and monitor KPIs across operations, liquidity, growth, and reseller retention.
- Ensure strong operational and transaction knowledge across all teams.
- Act as the final escalation point for operational, financial, or reseller-related issues.
B. Operational Stability & Financial Control
- Ensure uninterrupted payment and reseller operations.
- Oversee liquidity monitoring and funding requirements across reseller channels.
- Prevent operational disruption caused by balance or settlement gaps.
- Enforce maker-checker controls and segregation of duties.
- Ensure reconciliation accuracy and timely resolution of variances.
- Prevent unauthorized transactions, operational leakage, or process gaps.
C. Reseller Growth & Business Development
- Define and execute reseller acquisition and expansion strategies.
- Support the Business Development team with reseller onboarding frameworks, commission structures, and operational requirements.
- Oversee partner pipeline management and reseller engagement initiatives.
- Ensure business growth targets are achieved while maintaining operational discipline and controls.
D. Risk, Fraud & Compliance
- Ensure proactive monitoring of reseller and transaction activity.
- Identify and mitigate operational and fraud-related risks.
- Coordinate investigations with Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Escalate financial, operational, or regulatory risks in a timely manner.
E. Process Improvement & Scalability
- Own and improve reseller operational frameworks and workflows.
- Standardize processes, reporting structures, and escalation protocols.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Drive automation initiatives and scalable operational controls.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering transaction volumes, operational performance, reseller growth, retention, liquidity exposure, and risk observations.
F. Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Clearly present and explain company services, operational processes, and business expectations to reseller partners.
- Build strong relationships through effective written and verbal communication.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments and external reseller partners.
- Be available for online and in-person meetings with partners when required.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, financial services, or other fast-paced operational environments.
- Experience managing operational teams and scaling business processes.
- Strong understanding of payment operations, liquidity management, transaction flows, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience handling operational risk, fraud controls, and reseller or partner management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable engaging directly with business partners and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Working Arrangement
Remote work may be considered for the first 30–60 days for overseas candidates, after which the role is expected to transition to an in-office setup.
