Standard Job Description
The F-35/IFG Signature Integration Development and Sustainment Team seeks a Low Observable (RCS) Signature Engineer to continue advancing, delivering and sustaining the low observable capabilities of the air vehicle systems we deliver.
Performs scientific experiments, investigations, observations and related research studies into the nature and operation of natural phenomena in a particular field, using the scientific methods.
Develops theories for understanding, characterizing and organizing natural phenomena into a systematic and meaningful pattern for the benefit of project advancement and emerging technologies.
May participate in intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications.
May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.
Specific Responsibilities
The Low Observable (RCS) engineer will be responsible for supporting test events, data evaluation and analysis, and working across interdisciplinary teams to ensure signature requirements are met on development and sustainment objectives.
Responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:
- Support ATF Signature Acceptance Testing & performance of radar cross section (RCS) diagnostics to include generation of aircraft acceptance & failure reports.
- Collaboration with team members to analyze RCS test data and deliver technical presentations to customers and stakeholders.
- Evaluate configuration change impacts to RCS and represent signature IPT in projects related to both development and sustainment initiatives.
- Perform computational electromagnetics (CEM) predictions and use the predicted changes to inform design decisions.
- Interface with government customers, internal stakeholders and supplier teams while communicating technical details to relevant senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or above in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and/or technically related degree.
• U.S. Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills
- Radar Cross Section Test Experience and/or (I)SAR imaging
- Knowledge of the F-35 airframe design and coating materials/methods
- Proficiency in MATLAB coding
Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Demonstrated experience presenting deeply technical work to a variety of audience
- Active Secret preferred
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
