The Research Associate V, S1-4 will be involved in all aspects of 3D Printing of CAD Models.
The person will be required to print, post-process and finish 3D printed models and operate 3D resin and filament printers.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manipulate, modify and prepare CAD models in CAD Software for 3D printing on resin and/or filament printers
- Perform post-processing and finishing of 3D printed models
- Provide support in the maintenance and cleaning of 3D printing equipment
- Manage Timeliness associated with multiple 3D printing tasks
- Coordinate ordering required 3D printing supplies
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and years of work experience.
- 5.5-7 years of full-time verifiable work experience (preferably in science, engineering, business, liberal arts, or equivalent).
- Must have extensive experience with CAD/3D software.
Experience
with and extensive knowledge of resin printing is required.
- Experience using Solidworks and/or Rhino 3d desired.
$70,500 - $87,741
