Research Associate - Analytical Chemistry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, geochemistry, biology, or a related field.
• At least two years of hands-on laboratory experience is required.
• Experience with automated liquid-handling systems such as Opentrons, Beckman Coulter Biomek, or Eppendorf epMotion is preferred.
• Experience in analytical chemistry techniques and relevant laboratory equipment is required.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate record keeping, data integrity, and precision-work ability are required.
• Written and verbal communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences are required.
• The candidate must be able to work independently and with a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite is required.
• Travel to other company sites may be required for up to 10% of the time.
• The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching overhead, and standing for extended periods with reasonable accommodation.
• The role requires work in a BSL-2 laboratory and with hazardous materials; previous experience is preferred.
