Research Assistant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provides support and assistance to Principal Investigators in all phases of the research project, including proposal preparation, fieldwork planning, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
• Participates in writing papers, articles, and reports based on the findings of Institute surveys, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
• Prepares progress and survey management reports as requested.
• Attends and actively participates in meetings and research-related events as requested by the Head of Research and/or the Principal Investigator, contributing to the Institute’s broader goals.
• Assists in coordinating and setting up training activities relevant to the Institute's work, collaborating with the Administrative Assistant and other relevant parties.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• **Qualifications**
• + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as health, education, sociology, political science, or economics).
• + **Languages:** Excellent proficiency in English and/or Arabic (both written and verbal).
• + **Experience:** Demonstrated expertise or background in research methodologies.

Academic

• Current Curriculum Vitae with Cover letter.
• Teaching,research, and service philosophy.
• Three referees’ contact information (physical and email addresses as well their telephones contact).
• Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed.However, if no course work was completed,an copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
• Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.

• A three-year renewable contract.
• Salary is commensurate with experience.
