Job Purpose
- Develop and implement the ENEC and UAE nuclear research and development program and establish strategic R&D relationships with domestic and international research partners to support UAE national strategy for advanced innovation.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
- Prepare and implement strategies for coordination, monitoring and evaluation of research work.
- Develop and guide business plans and business cases to ensure availability of funds for research purposes.
- Provide support in promoting ENEC and the UAE Nuclear Program to establish strategic R&D relationships.
- Provide support in establishing a framework to enable collaborations and partnerships with leading international research institutions.
- Provide support in establishing contractual agreements with R&D entities to maximize intellectual property.
- Conduct research and development benchmarking with international programs.
- Provide support in aligning Scholarships with the R&D needs of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
- Provide support in developing and implementing R&D competency development framework and training programs.
- Develop and implement processes, procedures, and other controlled documents.
- Take personal responsibility for safety and follow HSE policies.
- Follow all relevant Security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Crisis Management and Business Continuity requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Science, Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
