Job Purpose
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the corporate applications and technology domain.
- Manages project delivery activities by applying best practices in project management, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and maintaining adherence to governance and compliance standards.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and stakeholders to drive timely delivery, manage risks, and optimize resource utilization.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
- Facilitates workgroups to deliver defined goals and outcomes.
- Provides support, guidance, and suggestions to workgroups and teams to learn collaborative problem solving and improve their team performance.
- Creates shared responsibilities and sustainable agreements with the team.
- Implements and improves agreed team principles, practices, processes & ceremonies.
- Recognizes and works with the strengths and constraints of team dynamics.
- Develops comprehensive project plans, defining scope, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to align project schedules with business priorities.
- Continuously monitors and updates project plans to reflect changes and risks.
- Ensures resource availability and optimal allocation across projects.
- Identifies, assesses, and documents project risks and issues proactively.
- Develops mitigation and contingency plans in collaboration with project teams.
- Monitors risk triggers and implements escalation procedures as needed.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities (contd.)
- Establishes clear communication channels between project teams, business units, and vendors.
- Facilitates regular status updates, meetings, and governance reviews.
- Manages stakeholder expectations and resolves conflicts effectively.
- Ensures transparency and timely information flow throughout project lifecycles.
- Supports the planning and implementation of organizational change associated with project delivery.
- Coordinates with change agents and business leaders to prepare end users for transition.
- Develops and distributes communication and training materials to facilitate adoption.
- Monitors change impact and gathers feedback for ongoing adjustments.
- Tracks project KPIs and performance against defined objectives.
- Prepares and presents dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.
- Analyzes project data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Recommends corrective actions and drives their implementation.
Resource and Capacity Management
- Assesses current and future resource needs for project delivery across the corporate portfolio.
- Coordinates with resource managers and team leads to allocate personnel effectively.
- Monitors resource utilization to prevent overallocation or bottlenecks.
- Plans for skill development and capacity building to meet evolving project demands.
- Reports on resource availability and capacity constraints to senior management for informed decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or relevant field.
Experience
- 3 years of relevant experience is required
