This position is critical for driving project profitability, managing complex contracts, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
The ideal candidate will lead commercial operations across multiple projects, oversee budgeting and financial performance, and support business growth through strategic tendering and opportunity identification.
With a focus on compliance, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, this role is essential to the execution and scalability of offshore services in high-demand sectors such as oil & gas and marine engineering.
Responsibilities
- Oversee commercial operations for offshore and marine projects
- Manage contracts, project budgets, and financial performance
- Support tendering, bidding, and proposal preparation activities
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and commercial risks
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company procedures
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support business growth and identify new commercial opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Offshore Services, Marine, Oil & Gas, EPC, or Engineering companies
- Strong knowledge of commercial management, contracts, tendering, and project coordination
- Good communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- GCC experience will be considered an advantage
