Fresh Produce & Cold Storage Operations

  • Managing the movement of fresh vegetables and agricultural products from farms to cold storage facilities
  • Ensuring products are stored correctly to maintain freshness and quality
  • Monitoring cold room temperatures and making sure food safety standards are followed
  • Finding ways to reduce spoilage and product wastage

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Overseeing daily warehouse activities and inventory operations
  • Keeping accurate records of stock levels and product movement
  • Following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to ensure proper stock rotation
  • Conducting regular stock checks and inventory counts
  • Making sure the warehouse remains organized and efficient

Logistics & Distribution Management

  • Planning and managing transportation and delivery operations
  • Coordinating vehicle schedules and delivery routes
  • Ensuring products are delivered to customers on time
  • Working closely with suppliers, drivers, and retail partners
  • Handling operational issues and finding quick solutions when challenges arise

Team Management & Coordination

  • Leading and supporting warehouse and logistics teams
  • Coordinating with farming operators, suppliers, and buyers
  • Creating efficient processes and improving workflows
  • Training and guiding team members to achieve operational goals
  • Building a positive and productive working environment

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Preparing reports on operations, inventory, and logistics performance
  • Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Recommending solutions that improve efficiency and service quality
  • Ensuring all operations follow company policies and food safety standards

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in: Operations Management, Logistics & Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Cold Chain Operations, Warehouse & Inventory Management, FMCG or Fresh Produce Operations
  • Strong understanding of cold storage and food distribution operations
  • Experience managing transportation and delivery activities
  • Ability to lead teams and improve operational processes
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Good English communication skills
  • Arabic language skills will be an advantage
  • Transferable Iqama preferred
