Technical responsibilities
- Perform Level I repairs, inspections, and function testing on LWD downhole tools and equipment, including drivers, pulsers, batteries, gamma tools, BAPs, IDSs, interconnects, flow diverters, MFRs, NDTs, and collars.
- Perform gamma verifications, calibrations, IDS check stand roll tests, neutron density calibrations, and MFR air hangs.
- Assemble and disassemble tool strings, program tools, and conduct function testing.
- Conduct pulser wet tests, valve replacements, tip orifice replacements, and lithium battery assembly and disassembly.
Documentation and workshop support
- Complete service records, maintenance documentation, and electronic and hard-copy filing.
- Support failure analysis and update reliability databases, work orders, and technical reports.
- Assist team members, mentor trainees when requested, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Follow quality, health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures and policies.
Candidate requirements
- Fresh graduate with a diploma in engineering or a related field.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on technical work.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively under demanding conditions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, organization, troubleshooting, self-motivation, and discipline.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
Additional qualifications
- Recent graduates with a strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or drilling technologies are encouraged to apply.
- Basic technical knowledge from academic studies, internships, projects, or laboratory work is advantageous.
