Key skills for this role
As a Care Advisor, you'll play a critical role in helping families choose Earth for their end-of-life arrangements. This is a quota-based sales position, designed for someone motivated to meet and exceed clear sales targets.
In this role, you will:
Guide families compassionately through their end-of-life decisions, educating them on Earth's unique and sustainable services through online literature, tours, virtual meetings, and personalized phone consultations.
Build expertise in both pre-need (planning ahead) and at-need (immediate need) arrangements, understanding and navigating the emotional sensitivities unique to each scenario.
Maintain meticulous records in our CRM, managing 60-100+ daily calls, carefully documenting conversations, updating records accurately, and strategically nurturing relationships through thoughtful follow-up emails.
Stay current on company policies, insurance licensing requirements, and federal regulations across multiple states, proactively ensuring compliance as Earth expands into new markets.
Work a consistent schedule (typically Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm) that also includes periodic evening shifts (5pm–8pm), weekend rotations, and holiday coverage to maintain our commitment to exceptional customer support seven days a week.
At Earth, we believe how we say farewell matters. Our mission is to transform the end-of-life experience by offering families a beautiful, sustainable alternative to cremation and burial.
Instead of traditional methods that harm the environment, our gentle, natural process transforms the body into nutrient-rich soil in just 45 days - returning life to the earth and leaving a meaningful legacy.
Families can choose to receive the soil to scatter, plant, or share, while the remainder is thoughtfully donated to conservation projects that restore and heal our planet. First legalized in Washington State in 2019, this practice is rapidly gaining popularity nationwide. Earth is the national leader, backed by major investors, and growing fast.
That's where you come in. We're looking for empathetic, enthusiastic team members to guide families through end-of-life planning, helping them discover if Earth is the right choice for them. At Earth, you’ll join a professional, passionate team, supporting a truly mission-driven company scale nationally.
