About the Role
Hire Rightt is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a role in Dubai to transition the organization from reactive to predictive maintenance. The position involves developing reliability strategies for critical rotating equipment, leading RCFA investigations, and implementing condition-based monitoring programs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability strategies for critical assets, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and auxiliary systems
- Lead RCFA investigations and ensure effective, sustainable corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Define and lead the Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) strategy, including standards, methodologies, and technology selection
- Establish monitoring philosophies, alarm limits, and inspection frequencies based on equipment criticality
- Develop asset health dashboards and leverage CBM systems to support data driven maintenance decisions
- Manage and optimize machinery performance by using monitoring tools (e.g. GE System 1, VISOR, vibration analysis, and oil analysis)
- Ensure adherence to relevant international standards and best practices, including API, ISO, and OEM requirements
- Ensure all activities are executed in full compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
- 8 15 years of experience in rotating equipment, reliability engineering, and condition based monitoring (CBM) within oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proven expertise across critical rotating assets, including pumps, compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines, motors, and gearboxes
- Demonstrated experience in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and delivering reliability improvement initiatives
- Hands on experience with condition monitoring systems and predictive maintenance technologies
- Strong working knowledge of API standards including API 610, 617, 618, 611, 612, 614
- Familiarity with condition monitoring systems such as GE System 1, VISOR
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Oracle

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
Experience Profile
- 8–15 years of experience in rotating equipment, reliability engineering, and condition based monitoring (CBM) within oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven expertise across critical rotating assets, including pumps, compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines, motors, and gearboxes.
- Demonstrated experience in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and delivering reliability improvement and asset performance enhancement initiatives.
- Hands on experience with condition monitoring systems and predictive maintenance technologies, including online and offline monitoring tools.
- Experience in developing or contributing to CBM strategies, maintenance optimization, and reliability frameworks is strongly preferred.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Strong working knowledge of API standards including API 610, 617, 618, 611, 612, 614, and related rotating equipment standards.
- Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA / RCFA) methodologies and frameworks.
- Condition Based Monitoring standards (ISO 17359, ISO 13373, ISO 20816).
- Asset Performance Management (APM) systems and digital reliability tools.
- Vibration analysis techniques, diagnostics, and interpretation.
- Lubrication engineering and tribology principles.
- Familiarity with condition monitoring systems such as GE System 1, VISOR (VFD monitoring), and related equipment monitoring platforms.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Oracle.
- Good understanding of Management of Change (MOC), risk assessment, and asset integrity processes.
