Regulatory Intern - 2027

Support the Regulatory organization in activities that help ensure compliance with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requirements. You’ll gain hands-on experience with regulatory processes, licensing documentation, inspections, and compliance activities while working alongside experienced regulatory professionals.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll assist with researching regulatory and licensing documents, preparing documentation, maintaining regulatory records, and supporting NRC and DOE inspection activities. You’ll also help track regulatory commitments and use document control and corrective action systems to gather and manage information. This role provides an opportunity to learn how regulatory requirements are applied in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field

Preference given to candidates in their Junior or Senior year

Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others

U.S. citizenship
